The first photo is from the former harbor. Nr 2 is the north gateway "Norderport".

In the old town of Visby you will find several small houses and ruins of churches. Some are partially covered with ivy.

The island of Gotland has 92 churches, most of them built in the 13th century.

Many of the elder houses in Visby have influences of old German architecture.
